Research and development is a key focus within the health care sector, resulting in constant change and the challenge to keep staff knowledge current. HARTMANN has addressed this challenge with the introduction of the HARTMANN Professional Development Program.
The program offers a number of educational options including Product in-servicing, face to face modules, full accredited courses, an E-Learning platform and Nursing Assistant Tailored Education.
Product In-Servicing
HARTMANN offers product in-servicing to all current customers. Users are trained on product application and usage of our continence and wound care products and where required, in-servicing may be supplemented with educational resources such as application posters and guidelines on correct product choice.
Face to Face Modules
Taking the next step in education, are HARTMANN’s education modules. These modules aim to stretch the knowledge of staff and equip them with the know how to deal with patients and residents on a more delicate level.
Education modules are presented in an interactive format with a focus on group work and encouraging attendees to apply their learnt knowledge into their workplaces following education completion. Sessions are targeted at staff working in care roles and can be delivered at a venue of your choice in a tailored format that best suits your facility needs. Currently 8 continence and 7 wound care modules are available.
Accredited Courses
HARTMANN offers 2 courses aimed at building clinical skills and knowledge and provide accredited qualifications within the health sector. The courses are suitable for Registered and Enrolled Nurses.
E-learning
HARTMANN offers the most comprehensive e-learning system that currently exists for Aged Care facilities. The program offers over 50 online courses, providing a complete solution for your educational needs.
Courses are written to best practice guidelines and offer a cost effective and time efficient education system. HARTMANN’s E-learning system provides mandatory education requirements for aged care facilities, limits the number of staff off the floor at any one time while education takes place and allows education to be tracked through the inbuilt training matrix.
Nursing Assistant Tailored Education
HARTMANN, in conjunction with Frontline Aged Care Solutions have developed a suite of courses tailored at Nursing assistants and carers. These courses are aimed at increasing professional skill levels in tasks considered common in their roles.
